The Diet Precautions for Patients with Purpura Nephritis


1. Avoid touching all allergic foods. Patient should avoid eating food that can induce Purpura Nephritis, and try to avoid eating diet that can induce allergic Purpura Nephritis, such as fish, shrimp, crab, pollen and cow’s milk.
2. Fluid intake. When patients are in the early kidney failure, their kidney concentrating function has been reducing and the metabolic products need much water to be removed from the kidneys. So if patients have no serious swelling, it is not necessary to limit water aimlessly.
3. Keep a balance diet. The proper diet includes the whole grains, fresh vegetables and fruits, beef, mutton, pork and so on.
4. Avoid salty food, spicy food, and roast food. Patients with Renal Insufficiency or End-stage Kidney Failure should not eat soy products and limit animal meat with high albumin and fry food.
5.Strengthen physique and improve the immunity. Patients should strengthen physique and improve the immunity for all kinds of infections; avoid all inducing factors for allergic purpura.

6.Salt intake. The salt controlling should be based on patients’ condition and kidney function. Not all patients with Purpura Nephritis must control salt intake.
